You
can backup your data as an EXE file that can be executed on
any machine even if Genie Outlook Backup is not installed!
This file will be a bit larger compared to the .bol file since
the EXE file will contain the .bol file in addition to other
components to make it executable.
Backing up into an EXE file is very helpful when you want
to format your hard disk or when you need to migrate your
data to another machine that doesn't have Genie Outlook Backup
installed.
To backup your data to a self-executable file you need to:
1- Choose Normal backup mode, if Genie Outlook Backup is
not already set to Normal Backup, you can do so by pressing
the "Switch
Layout" button in the main menu
2- Proceed to the second step of the backup wizard process
3- Select the "Backup
as executable EXE file" checkbox in
the "Backup
Media Type Settings" group box as shown
below

or a remote FTP server |
